Real Time Strategy game with deckbuilding and tower defense mechanics, where you combine cards to create your army of Elementals to fight the Shadows and save the forest.

I worked as solo Senior Unity Developer in this project, creating all mechanics and systems from scratch.

It counts with multiple interesting and complex mechanics and systems, such as:

- Fully configurable damage system based on 12 element types, each having their own strenghts and weaknesses.
- 7 Unique cards, allowing for 84 recipes.
- Upgrade system with 30+ upgrades.
- Runtine level loader, with 25 levels.

Star Armada

Star Armada is a 2D Top-Down Auto-Battler game set in space. I acted as a Senior Unity Developer during the development of the game.

 

- Improved Star Armada’s performance with optimization techniques, resulting in a 21% increase in framerate and a 7% reduction in memory usage.

- Implemented CI/CD workflow using GitHub Actions, automating builds and Steam uploads from commit to deployment in beta branch in 15 minutes.

- Overhauled the upgrade system with 6 upgrade trees and a brand new Skyrim-like UI.

- Created a galaxy generation generation system, with procedurally generated paths and planets, adding 7 new biomes.

CATastrophic

CATastrophic is a 2d action-adventure and management game where you are responsible for rescuing and taking care of stray cats that are roaming the streets until you find a new home for them.

I programmed all mechanics and systems in the game, such as:

- 2 AI Systems for male and female cats using Finite State Machines, with 6 different behaviors.

- Experience leveling system and upgrade rewards for character abilities and attributes.​

- Complex shelter management system with:

   - Money rewards based on the quality of life of all cats.

   - Hunger, Hygiene and Fun needs for each cat.

   - Adoption system with adopter preferences, such as: cat affection, sociability, and energy

Bly

Unity Developer (Remote)

Bly is a game used in schools to help kids to learn while creating their own games.

I worked as the solo Unity Developer in the game, programming all mechanics and systems.


The game counts with 8 features to help them achieve this, such as: Level Editor, Level Painter, Cloud Saving with Firebase and much more.

 

Kids can publish their levels in the cloud, and all users are able to play their games.

 

Delivered 1 month before the deadline, and used the time to create 2 extra features for the game: 
- Pixel Art Editor
- Animation Editor.
